43rd INTERNATIONAL SUMMER ACADEMY FOR ORGANISTS
REGISTRATION

THE APPLICATION FOR THE SUMMER ACADEMY IS CLOSED

CONDITIONS OF ADMISSION
Admission is open to those holding a music degree from a professional institution such as a University (BA, MA), Musikhochschule or Conservatoire. In addition, students who are nearing the end of their organ studies will also be admitted, but should include a letter of recommendation from their professor with the application. Students holding certificates from other institutions as mentioned above should first address to the organisation.
Every participant is expected to take an active part in at least one course. Active participants
should have a technical mastery of a large proportion of the works on the repertoire list.

REGISTRATION
The registration form and the registration fee must be received by the 'Stichting Internationaal Orgelconcours' office by 1 June 2008 at the latest. Due to the limited number of participants per course, we strongly advise applicants to submit their registration forms well before the date stated above! The date on which the application form and registration fee are received is decisive for the order of registration.

APPLICATION
* Please check first if there are places left in the course, as some courses already are closed to active students.
* Please indicate
on the application form your preferred course(s), and alternative courses in case your first choice is fully booked. Please note carefully the courses which cannot be combined! We will not offer ‘reserve’ places on courses.
Students will receive confirmation of the courses to which they have been admitted within a few weeks after their application form and registration fee being received.
* To allow as many students as possible to follow courses, application is limited to a maximum of 56 teaching hours (e.g. 2 x 24 hr-course and 1 x 8 hr-workshop) (but not counting course 6b!).
* Application is not possible for groups: each student must apply individually.

FEES
Each participant is required to pay € 85,00 as a registration fee. For those only attending one workshop of 8 hrs, no registration fee is required. The registration fee must be paid at the same time as the subscription form is sent, and can be done free of charge by using PayPal on this website (see below). After the student has received confirmation of the application, the registration fee will not be refunded in the event that the student subsequently cancels his or her application.
Academy participants are admitted free of charge to all concerts organised by the 'Stichting Internationaal Orgelconcours' during the period of the Summer Academy (21 July - 2 August).
