The International Summer Academy 2012 will be held from 16 to 28 July 2012. The following leading specialists will teach and perform: James David Christie, Leo van Doeselaar, Ton Koopman, Jos van der Kooy, Olivier Latry, Jacques van Oortmerssen, Margaret Phillips, Peter Planyavsky, Louis Robilliard, Martin Sander, Roman Summereder, Zsigmond Szathmáry, Harald Vogel and Jean-Claude Zehnder.
A special part of the Summer Academy is the symposium From Sweelinck to Bach, which will take place in the weekend 21-22 July and will include lectures and recitals on the historic organs in Oosthuizen, Edam, Amsterdam (Nieuwe Kerk and Oude Kerk) and Haarlem. The symposium is included in the academy fees. Students will be transported by bus and will have the opportunity to meet fellow students and to enjoy the academy lunch.
Information on the masterclasses and repertoire will be published on this site by 1 October 2011. Application for the Summer Academy opens on 1 January 2012.
