One more night to go...

Once again the beautiful town of haarlem is the setting for the internationally renowned International Organ Festival. This is the 52nd edition since its creation in 1951. Between 14th - 28th july prominent organists, students, and music lovers from The Netherlands and abroad will gather here to share their passion for the king of instruments. Although our world-famous baroque Christian Müller organ in St Bavo’s, together with the 19th century symphonic instrument built by Aristide Cavaillé-Coll in the Philharmonie Concert Hall are the heart of the programme, you can also enjoy several other fine instruments in the town. In addition to the three rounds of the improvisation competition, the festival also features some 40 events in Haarlem as well as visits to historic buildings and instruments in Alkmaar and Groningen.
Tomorrow Saturday 14 July the Festival opens with the Haarlem Organ Day, the traditional upbeat to the festival. This year: a special Haarlem Organ Day for Kids! Several organ activities for children, like an exciting scavenger hunt with like building an organ, will take place at a number of locations in the historical centre of Haarlem.

Come and join us for our unique festival!
